Auris Spumante Brut - Sparkling Wine Gold Bottle

Auris is  Latin for golden splendor, finesse and good taste.

It is a sparkling jewel, with fruity and floral bouquet, liquid notes in a golden bottle.

The golden nectar is the perfect match for convivial moments. 

CLASSIFICATION: Sparkling wine Brut.

PRODUCTION AREA:Areas in the Veneto region dedicated to vine-growing, with marly soils of alluvial origin rich in subsoil.

GRAPE VARIETY: Cuvee Pinot Bianco and Chardonnay.

TRAINING: Various more or less extensive radiating systems with1800-2300 vines per hectare.

YIELD PER HECTARE: On average 150 quintals of grapes.

HARVESTING PERIOD: End of August.

VINIFICATION: Whole grapes are put into the pneumatic press for softpressing and the resulting must, after a first racking, is put into controlled temperature tanks where it remains until it isused for the production of the sparkling wine. The cuvee is prepared by blending the musts of the two varieties in varying percentages according to requirements; there is, however, always more than 50% Pinot Bianco.

SECONDARY FERMENTATION: The must with added yeast cultures selected by Villa Sandi is then put into vessels where fermentation takes place at acontrolled temperature of 15-16°C to enhance all theharvest fragrances. Upon reaching the required alcohol andsugar content fermentation is stopped by refrigeration. After being left for at least two months in contact with the yeasts,the sparkling wine is ready for bottling.

DISTINCTIVE FEATURES: Very pale straw yellow with greenish glints and a minute,persistent perlage. A fruity and flowery aroma with delicate hints of unripe golden apple. Dry, fresh flavour with a hint ofartemisia.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS: A wine suited to raw shellfish and seafood, ham and melon.Excellent as an aperitif and at any time during the day.
