ALCOHOL CONTENT:13% volume

GRAPE VARIETIES USED:PINOT GRIS 100%

PRODUCTION AREA AND EXPOSURE:Prepotto (Udine) –south-east.

SOIL TYPE:Pinot Gris grapes are grown in an area where the soil is rich in marl, clay and organic substance, microelements which guarantee a high-quality fruit. The yield is 50/70 quintals per hectare.

TRAINING SYSTEM:single-arched cane and Sylvoz short cane.

VINTAGE :harvested by hand into crates at the beginning of September.

VINIFICATION:soft pressing of the grapes, followed by cold settling of the must and then alcohol fermentation at a controlled temperature of 16-17° C. in order to preserve the refined aroma.

MATURATION AND AGEING:fine lees contact until the spring after the harvest, before bottling.

ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS:Golden yellow dry white wine, with an aroma reminiscent of acacia bloom, Williams pear and Golden Delicious apple. Rounded, pleasantly bitter taste, well-balanced.

SUGGESTED PAIRINGS:ideal with ham, fresh cheeses, first courses, poultry and especially fish.

HOW TO SERVE:at a temperature of 8-10° C. in medium-sized, long-stemmed goblets.
